If you request more information or apply online, an enrollment services representative will contact you to answer any questions and walk you through any necessary documentation required for admission. You can apply year-round, and your representative will help you pick one of six class start dates per year that works best for your schedule.

After applying, you will receive a Florida Tech email address and login to Panther Pass to ensure you have completed all necessary processes, including transcripts and financial aid documents. You will also be asked to complete a learning readiness assessment called SmarterMeasure. SmarterMeasure is a web-based assessment that indicates your readiness for learning in an online, technology-rich environment.
3. Start classes
If you are accepted, you will receive an email and a new student packet. Your representative will reach out to make sure you have everything you need before starting your class, and answer any questions you have about the online classroom. Then, you can log into Florida Tech’s online learning platform to complete your coursework 100% online.

Your representative will talk to you about how your class is going, and help you register and order textbooks for each class. Your instructors and classmates are also available through chat, discussion boards and email to discuss course topics and online learning experiences.

Graduates of programs offered online are invited to receive their diplomas during commencement ceremonies in Melbourne, where they will walk alongside and receive the same diploma as their campus-based peers. Whether you participate in graduation or celebrate your achievement at home, you can proudly call yourself a Panther for life.
