The first of two courses in college-level writing skills. Focuses on writing essays using various rhetorical modes: persuasion, description, comparison and analysis. Provides the knowledge and skills necessary to create applications, collect data and manage databases. Includes the theory of decisions and decision analysis, including probability and risk-taking.
