Homecoming 2017

This year’s homecoming is filled to the brim with fun. From athletics to live music, we’ve got the low-down on how you can best show your Panther Pride.

FIT Homecoming 5K Run/Walk

To kick things off, we’ve got the FIT Homecoming 5K Run/Walk on Thursday, Nov. 2. Starting at 6 p.m. in downtown Melbourne and closing with a party at Meg O’Malley’s, this 5K will be worth the workout! The best thing about it? This year, our 2nd Annual Virtual 5K is back after a successful inaugural year. No matter where you run, you’ll get a T-shirt if you register. Are you up for the challenge? Register here!

Online Student and Alumni Reception

Our next homecoming highlight is the Annual Online Student and Alumni Reception hosted by the Office of Online Learning and Bisk. This exclusive reception is at Island Pasta Co. Restaurant & Bar from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov.3. Featuring free appetizers and drinks, this event is the perfect pregame to the Homecoming Fest in downtown Melbourne.

Homecoming Fest

The Homecoming Fest on Friday, Nov. 3 has street vendors, drinks, food and a free concert featuring The Fratellis, making it a night to remember! The festivities run from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Florida Tech vs. West Georgia

What’s Homecoming without a football game? This year, the claws will be out in the battle between the Panthers and the West Georgia Wolves. Catch the game at Palm Bay High School’s Panther Stadium or watch it online at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4.

From the fest to the game, there are events the whole family can enjoy. Be sure to catch them all at this year’s Homecoming Celebration! For the full schedule, go to http://homecoming.fit.edu/.
